Where Old Patches Find New Purpose

Cold Creek Hat began with an appreciation for authentic vintage patches and the stories they carry. These patches, each at least 20 years old and often much older, were originally created for advertising, uniforms, businesses, farms, organizations, and events.

We find them through estate sales, warehouse closing auctions, antique stores, specialized dealers, and individuals who uncover forgotten collections in family garages or places of business. We then give these pieces of history a new purpose by pairing them with new hats selected by our customers.

Every patch identified as vintage is authentic. Cold Creek Hat does not manufacture or reproduce the vintage patches offered on our website.

Custom Hats Made Your Way

We believe the best hat is one that feels like it was made for you. Through our Build Your Own Hat collection, you can choose an available patch, pair it with your preferred blank hat, and let us create the finished piece.

Along with vintage patches, we offer original Cold Creek designs and patches sourced from other suppliers. Unless requested otherwise, each patch is centered on the front of the hat and permanently applied using a professional heated hat press.

The result is a distinctive hat that reflects your interests, history, business, or personal style.
